Show and Events

The Rose City Classic Series of Dog Shows is one of the largest and most popular dog events in the United States. It spans 5 days, starting with 16 Individual Breed and Group Specialty Shows (13 on Wednesday), followed by 4 days of All-Breed Dog Shows, featuring Conformation Judging of 175+ Breeds, Obedience, Rally and Agility Trials on Thursday through Sunday. Friday features a Canine Good Citizen Test and a new class for Beginner Puppies, 4-6 months old. If you are looking for a specific breed, click here for breed times.

Many of the best dogs in America and dogs from other countries will travel to Portland to join in the fun and competition. The clubs of the Rose City Classic Series of Dog Shows appreciate the ongoing support from the Purina, which is the exclusive pet food supporter of the Rose City Classic. We could not host such great shows without their backing.

Entries close for the Rose City Classic on January 2, 2013. About a week after entries close, the judging schedule for each breed and event will be available and posted online here.

For information about the specialties (individual breed shows) on Wednesday, contact Mary Bernard, specialty coordinator.
