The Rose City Classic is one of the largest and most successful dog events in the United States. The Rose City Classic is a 5-day event featuring numerous individual breed specialty shows and 4 all-breed dog shows, which offer breed judging, obedience and agility competition and a Canine Good Citizen Test.

These AKC clubs are not-for-profit organizations, they also provide services and donations for causes that benefit dogs and dog lovers in the Pacific Northwest. They work with local shelters, perform dog rescue, donate to service dog organizations, canine health foundations and award scholarships. Club referral services help families locate the right dog, train their dogs and find nearby veterinary and other professional services for their dogs.
