General Information

The Rose City Classic is dedicated to providing exhibitors with the best show environment possible. We work year-round to assure a safe, serviceable and enjoyable environment for the comfort of our exhibitors and the welfare of their dogs.

The superintendent for the Rose City Class Series of Dog Shows is Jack Onofrio Dog Shows. Please visit their website to enter online or to get more information. Their Oklahoma City phone number is 405-427-8181.

The Rose City Classic spans 5 days starting on January 17 with numerous breed specialties and a Terrier group show on Wednesday, followed by 4 all-breed shows that feature conformation (breed judging), Jr. Showmanship, and agility all 4 days.  Trick Dogs and Canine Good Citizen are offered on Thursday and Friday, and Obedience and Rally as well as Scent Work will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. For information or to sign up your local breed club for Meet the Breeds, please contact Dianne Kroll.  Please note the early closing date of Jan. 3, 2024, to enter the show.

Donate to Rose City Classic – Keep the Roses Blooming!
In 2023, Rose City Classic
was named Dog Show of the Year in a nationwide vote of over 1000 shows. This is a well-earned tribute to the hard-working volunteer members of Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon and Tualatin Kennel Club, the clubs that host Rose City Classic. They love the show and put in countless hours to make it the special show it is.

Dog shows, clubs, and exhibitors have been through a lot in recent years but with COVID behind us we are finally on the rebound. If you’d like to nudge this rebound along, please donate here at the Keep Rose City Classic Blooming link. Thank you!*

*Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon is  a 501(c)(4) organization (EIN # 93-6031043), which hosts the Rose City Classic Dog Shows. Under normal circumstances, donations to Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon are not tax deductible by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution.

Rose City Classic Supreme Specialty Challenge Download the flyer and be sure to attend the contest of the Best of the Best on Saturday at noon, the ring location TBA.
